Today I will share some tips so that you can take care of your roses.
- When your flowers arrive at the door of your flower shop, you should carefully remove them and cut their stems 2 inches above the end of the stem, it is important to do it at 45 degrees so that the rose can absorb the most water.
- In a bucket you are going to pour water and mix with flower food, this will allow the rose to live longer and can be nourished to show its splendor.
- The bunch of roses must remain with its cardboard cover and in water for 3 or 4 hours, hydrating and then unpacking.
- So that you can keep your roses fresh for longer, it is advisable to cut the stems and change the water every 24 hours, it is also important to place them in a cool place away from the sun so that they do not wither.

If you don’t have floral food, there are two homemade alternatives that we can do to keep our roses last longer.
Vinegar it’s a natural cleaner and disinfectant, it helps remove bacterias that cause the death of your flowers. Apply two tablespoons of vinegar to the bottom of the vase and the water slowly so that it mixes itself. Then mix again and place your flowers.
If you don’t have floral food or Vinegar, you could add two tablespoons of sugar per liter of water. Dissolve it completely to prevent clogging and ensure nutrients are absorbed by flowers. Keeping them fresh and radiant for longer!
