How we process our flowers?
EC Flowers & More carefully select the best stems to ensure the highest quality such as color, shape, size, and overall health of the flower.
Once we cut the stems on the harvest, they stay hydrated in water with a special solution till we bunch it. Then they get into the cooler at the farm to maintain their temperature. Finally they arrives to the Local airport.
Packaging and Shipping
We maintain the freshness and quality of the flowers during transit using a packaging that is specific for each flower variety. The packed is designed to keep the flowers protect from damage during transport.
The boxes go up onto refrigerated trucks at the Flower Farms to be taken to the Floral Logistics Center at the Quito International Airport. The stem are carefully inspected one last time before their flight with our Quality Control Team.
When the flowers arrive in the United States, they go directly to florist and flowershops. As they go directly from the farm they not subjected to the extended storage and transportation, times that can compromise their quality and freshness.
